Back ranks #2 on Kepler's and San Francisco Chronicle's Bestseller Lists, just below Eckhart Tolle's A New Earth. Esther Gokhale gave a well-received talk at Kepler's on last Tuesday evening that benefited both bookstore customers and staff. "As an intermittent back and neck pain sufferer myself, her experience and technique bring me hope that I, too, can be healed," said Pam Grange, Kepler's Author Events Manager, "It's all about posture."
March 27, 2008, Palo Alto -- Palo Alto Medical Foundation received $10,000 from a local donor to aid in an upcoming research study on the effectiveness of the Gokhale Method for back pain. Dr. Halle Agdassi, a physiatrist at PAMF, is the Principal Investigator. Clinical trials are expected to begin in September.
